64 bottles, 52 nylon bags, 26 foam sponges at 100 meters !!!

64 bottles, 52 nylon bags, 26 foam sponges at 100 meters !!! ... We completed the third tour-spring phase of the European Environment Agency Marine Litter Monitoring Program, which we carried out together with the team of Şile Municipality Mayor İlhan Ocaklı and Cleaning Affairs Manager Aydagül İpek! Bottles, nylon bags, foam sponges, and shoes were the most common things we found in our work on Uzunkum Beach on April 29, 2021. The next activity will be in July. We look forward to the news of those who want to join us in our effort to protect the environment and leave a clean world to future generations!

Blue Flag

The Blue Flag Programme is owned and run by the non-government, non-profit organisation the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE).

Green Key

Green Key is a voluntary eco-label for tourism facilities that promotes sustainable tourism and aims to contribute to the prevention of climate change by awarding and advocating facilities with positive environmental initiatives. Green Key began in Denmark in 1994 and was adopted by FEE in 2002 to become its fifth international Programme. It has since spread to more than 40 countries and continues to grow in numbers and spread across the world.

Young Reporters for the Environment

Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE) is a network of passionate young people educating for sustainable development by producing, engaging, creative, environmental journalism. Coordinated by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), YRE is in more than 25 countries worldwideand growing!
Participants, aged 11-21, investigate environmental issues and problems and report on them through written, photographic or video journalism, wherever possible proposing solutions.
